Have Your Say: The 2025 Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP) Update
Our community is moving forward, and your voice is essential to our journey. The Nisga'a Village of Gitwinksihlkw is currently creating a new Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP) and updating our 2009/2018 Official Community Plan (OCP).
What is a Comprehensive Community Plan? It is a guiding document that looks at everything vital to our village: our lands, programs, services, culture, housing, and economic development. More importantly, it involves everyone. Whether you live right here in the Village or are a Nisga'a citizen living away from home, this plan requires your input to effectively guide our Chief, Council, and staff in future decision-making.
Tell Us What You Think! We are striving to live by the principles of Sayt-K'ilim-Goot (one heart, one path, one nation), which means sharing our future equally. We invite all community members to complete the CCP survey. As a thank you for your time, everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win a pre-paid Visa card.
